Overview
Everything on UO Sagas hangs off a single account: your characters, your houses and your banked gold all belong to it. This page is the quick reference for what an account allows and where each ceiling can be lifted.
One account per person
Each person and household may have one account only. Creating additional accounts is prohibited and can get all of your related accounts suspended or terminated — see the Terms and Conditions.
Everything below exists so you do not need a second account: more characters, more houses and more simultaneous logins are all bought as upgrades to the one you have.

Characters
A new account holds 4 character slots. Three upgrades at the Vault of Eren Vendor take that to 7:

Both currencies buy the same thing, so character slots are reachable through play alone — 1.44 million gold for all three.
Characters online at the same time
Separately from how many characters you own, there is a cap on how many you can have logged in at once. It starts at 2 and goes up to 5:

These are the one set of account upgrades with no gold option — they can only be bought with Eren Coins.
Being able to run two characters at once by default is what makes a crafter or a pack-mule practical alongside your main.
Houses
An account may own 1 house to start with, up to 4 fully upgraded:

The limit is per account, not per character — a second character does not come with its own house slot. See Housing for placement and plot sizes.
Skills and stats
Skills are capped in two directions at once, and both ceilings can move:
- Total skill cap: 700, the sum across every skill. Skill Cap Balls raise it by 1 each, to a hard ceiling of 720.
- Per-skill cap: 100. Skill Scrolls raise one skill's cap by 1 each, to a maximum of 120 — but only 30 of the skills have scrolls at all.
- There is a shared budget of 120 scroll points per character, which is exactly enough for six skills at 120. Since 6 × 120 = 720, a fully scrolled character has room for nothing else.
Stats are simpler and fixed: each of Strength, Dexterity and Intelligence caps at 100, with a combined total of 225.

What is shared across your characters
- Banked gold — one balance for the whole account. See Currency and Banking.
- Citizenship — joining a town binds the account, so every character is a citizen of the same town. See Citizenship.
