Game Settings

The game has a lot of customizations available. This page shows you where to find them.

Paperdoll Options

Most settings are accessed through the OPTIONS button on your paperdoll (open the paperdoll with the Character button on the menu bar).

The options window groups settings into categories covering the interface, sound, macros and more. A few useful ones:

• Gumps & Context → Disable Menu Bar — hides the menu bar at the top of the screen entirely.
• Macro settings let you bind keys to common actions such as opening your backpack, casting spells or saying text.

Help Options

Additional game options are found under the Help button on the menu bar.

Tips

• Take a few minutes early on to set up macros for the actions you use most — it makes a big difference.
• Window positions are saved per profile, so once you have arranged your interface (see User Interface) it stays that way.
• If you get stuck or want recommended settings, ask in the UO Sagas Discord — players are happy to share their setups.
