Client Setup

Welcome to UO Sagas! Follow the steps below to register an account, download the game and log in for the first time.

1. Register an Account

To begin your journey you first need to create an account:

  1. Visit my.uosagas.com and register for an account.
  2. During registration you will be prompted to link your Discord account.

Important: Linking your Discord account is mandatory. Without it, you will not be able to play using the client.

Your login credentials for the website are the same as for the game client — keep them safe and secure:

  • Username — the email address you signed up with
  • Password — the password you created during registration

2. Download and Install the Launcher

Download the launcher here: Ultima Online - Sagas - Setup.exe

Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions. Once installed, the launcher appears as an app on your system named "Ultima Online - Sagas".

Note: If you unselect the checkboxes for creating desktop/menu shortcuts during setup, you must create the shortcuts manually and assign administrator privileges — otherwise the launcher will not patch correctly and will throw an error.

Playing on Linux? The launcher is Windows-only — ask on Discord, where other Linux players and staff can help you get it running.

3. Use the Launcher

  • The launcher downloads and installs the game files for you.
  • It also keeps your client up to date with the latest patches and improvements.

Open the launcher, log in with your credentials (the email address and password from my.uosagas.com), and let the adventure begin!

If you were using the legacy version of the launcher, do not forget to migrate your profiles and data. Ask on Discord if you need help with the migration.

4. Report Bugs

Encountered a bug during your adventure? Help improve UO Sagas by reporting it!

Bugs can be reported on the UO Sagas Discord in the #bug-reports channel. Please include as much detail as possible:

  • A brief description of the issue
  • Steps to reproduce it
  • Error messages, if available
  • Screenshots

Problems with your account or credentials should be reported to yellow staff members on Discord.

If you encounter a Whitelisting Error when trying to access the game, please ask for help on the Discord server.

5. Have Fun!

Now that everything is set up, it is time to dive into the world of UO Sagas. Explore, battle, craft and connect with the community as you carve your own path. New characters start with special protections — see Young Players — and the User Interface guide will help you find your way around the client.
