Recipes

A handful of the best craftables are locked behind a recipe. Without it the item simply does not appear in your craft menu, no matter how high your skill is. There are 38 recipes in total.

Recipes are not bought or trained — they drop as recipe scrolls, and you learn one by double-clicking it.

How recipes work

• The scroll must be in your backpack to use.
• Learning is permanent and per character — an alt does not inherit it, so a recipe is worth learning on the crafter who will actually use it.
• Learning a recipe you already know does nothing and the scroll is not consumed, so a duplicate is safe to trade or sell.
• Knowing the recipe is only half of it — you still need the skill and the materials below.
• Recipe scrolls can be stored in bulk; see Almanacs.

Some scrolls are colour-coded so you can tell a set at a glance: Leaf Armor scrolls are orcish green, Daemon Armor scrolls deep red, Woodland Armor scrolls olive.

Where recipe scrolls come from

Champion spawns are the only source. Each completed champion yields three scrolls:

• 1 to the top damage dealer, handed over together with the champion skull.
• 2 into the reward pile that drops at the spawn, for anyone to grab.

Those two are never scaled by attendance — a quiet champion drops as many recipe scrolls as a packed one, which makes off-peak spawns unusually good value for a crafter.

The recipe on each scroll is rolled uniformly at random from all 38, so no recipe is rarer than another, and there is no way to target a specific one. Expect duplicates.
